It’s called Herb Jones Poet With a Paintbrush, and it’s available, now, just in time for holiday giving… to yourself, or to someone you love.
Herb Jones’ wife of 51 years, Barbara Jones Jones, has written a running narrative of his life and philosophy, giving us insight into the making of the internationally acclaimed artist.
A revered legend in the Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina tidewater regions, Herb gave us poignant depictions of misty shorelines and serene winter fields, derelict boats and grassy dunes, summer squalls and country pathways, and his birds, bringing us into his world as if we were walking there beside him.
For over half a century, our walls and our hearts have been graced by his vision. He gave us more than 5,000 original works and 500,000 fine quality prints that are still sold around the world.
Nineteen paintings in this volume have never been shown outside the artist’s studio before. Others are old favorites that you’ll enjoy over and over. There are 105 Herb Jones works spread on 120 pages in this hardback book, all just as he created them. The books’s overall size is approximately 11″ x 8.5″.
